Our Visit with Santa

Well I am about one week behind on blogging..so sorry. Last Sunday we went to our preschool with our great friends the trinh's to meet Santa! We had such a great time!

Of course, Mary Alice jumped right into Santa's lap and started chatting away! She let him know that what she wants most of all is a dog and cat playhouse. Of course Santa asked her what else she wanted and she just kept saying the "dog and cat house". Santa was very impressed with just her one request, and quite honestly so were her parents!

Just as I had imagined charlie did not want any part of talking to Santa. He would only look at him from the protection of his mother's leg! So Mary Alice let Santa know that what Charlie really wants is a train table!

What fun it will be Christmas morning to see what Santa has left these great kids!

The weather was unbelievable and we were able to get some pictures of the family and kids! It was a great afternoon and we had so much fun with the Trinh's. We are so blessed to have such great friends!

Friends for life!

Here are the Trinhs!

And here are Steve and I ....several people ask why there are not very many pictures of us on the blog and well quite honestly I hate pictures of myself...and this one is really no exception...just finally thought i would comply with some requests. Don't get to used to it though! :)

Well last week we had our Christmas program and I am hoping to post a video later in the week. And Mary Alice had her BIG birthday party yesterday at the Fire Station and I will get those pics on later this week too. Her party was a huge success and a lot of fun!

See you soon!

Were Going Green!

Here is a little song Mary Alice sang for us over thanksgiving! She sings songs from the top of her head daily and this what was she was thinking about that night!

Yes...i know the videoing is terrible....but in my defense..charlie was hanging on one of my sholder's and pulling me down....i would shake him off only for him to return within seconds! Kids! They sure make life fun!

Christmas Picture?

Posted by Picasa
Here is another picture...i think the first two are my favorite though....

Christmas Picture?

Well what do you think? Kids were happy and looking cute in their new pj's and I have NO christmas picture yet so i thought i would take my chances! I took about 50 pictures and I think I have about 3 decent ones. So hard to get Charlie to sit still for more than a second...much less look at the camera...and then if he looks at the camera she is still looking at the camera and then by the time my camera "auto focuses" for what seems like 5 minutes the image is gone!
I digress....Landon also turned me on to http://picasa.google.com/ which is a free download from Google where you can edit your pics. Of course if you have photoshop then you are set...but for some of us who are just not so cool yet (notice i say yet...hint...hint..santa) this works great!
Well let me know what you think....i have got to order this pictures soon....and I could try later to capture a better picture but i just don't know if i will get anything better than this....

Family Time!

Well we had a great time with Uncle Landon, Aunt Kristin, Natalie, G-MA and G-dad. I started to upolad all pictures but too many were taken! So I hope you enjoy some of the highlights!

We started off the weekend by eating at one of Mary Alice's favorite resturants. Billy Bob's Diner! We love the 50's music and the swivel chairs! Then we had Thanksgiving on Saterday...which was filled with so much yummy food. Saterday night we went Tanglewood for the fantastic light show...we had so much fun roasting marshmellows and drinking hot coco. Then church and bowling on Sunday. Yesterday we had a great time just hanging out before Uncle Landon, Aunt Kristin, and Natalie had to go. Some of our favorite times have been "storytime" with G-dad and playing under the beds. G-ma and G-dad are still here, we are going to try and enjoy them while the time lasts!

All I want for Christmas Part II

Video to come in next day or two...uncle landon had to pack up his imac and get on the road (video was not uploading) so he will post it when gets home. Hope you make it back safe uncle landon (at 3am). We miss you already!

All I want for Christmas is......

So here is another cute video of the cousin's tonight. We have all had such a great time over the past 4 days and are so sad to see uncle landon, aunt kristin, and natalie go. There is something really special about cousins and these cousins have had a great time together. We took a lot of pictures and hopefully in the next week I can get a slide show together!
