Well here goes nothing! I cannot believe I have a blog. I am so cool. The main reason I am so attracted to starting a blog (other than the fact I want to be cool like my friends) is I have been wanting to have a journal for my kids. Actually I have a journal for my kids. I have two really nice leather journals sitting next to our bed that I am supposed to be writting in but have had no such luck so I am saying a prayer I will have better luck with this....i will need your support and comments to keep me going..so see you have a part in the success of "hacienda del hirst". Mary Alice and Charlie this is for you, I hope you enjoy reading this one day. Hopefully when I get about a years worth of bloggin completed there will still be a company around to turn my blog into a book!
And this is for our families too. We miss you guys so much and I just know you will be dying each morning to get onto our blog and see what we are up to! But we will be here when you have the time. My goal is to post 1-2 times a week.
Ok so I am dying to try and post a picture. I just got home from work and I am on Steve's labtop and i have no idea what pictures on on here...I am sure they are old so tomorrow is a new day and I will try and get some new pictures posted because i just know there will be a line in cyberspace waiting to see just what i can accomplish!

Love your idea--we miss hearing about fun, daily things happening with your family. Mary Alice's emails, via Steve, have been keeping us laughing. We will check your blog often for updates and try to put in a few of our own. As MA would say, my heart is happy this morning.

okay, so when did you start speaking spanish??? Or is that a Salem thing? Or is a tribute to Texas? HAHAHA !
