Today was a great day. Kay-Lynn turned 31 today, and the kids had a great time with Mommy's big day.
Kay-Lynn probably would not put these pics up of herself, so I am posting this for her. We had a great dinner at Outback Steakhouse. The kids had a good time looking at all things Australian.
The kids made a Red Velvet Cake...Mommy's favorite. The candles sparked which was entertaining.
Some beautiful flowers from the one and only...........Miss Mandy!
On a side note...I have completed week one of the growth on my upper lip. Yes, I know...you will likely need to click on the photo to view my mustache. It is a little blonde coming in. I have 3 weeks to go to before I am able to shave it off. I have committed to growing the 'stache for Mustaches for Kids. All proceeds are going to buy mosquito nets for villages in Africa to stave off malaria outbreaks. Feel free to track my growth along with my co-worker, David Clark and about 60 other student growers. Let me know if you would like to contribute to my growth.

Happy Birthday Kay Lynn!!! I'm sorry I missed your bday, I didn't know. :) Seems like yall had a wonderful day! Hope you have a great one today too! See you tonight, maybe?
Thanks Daddy! You are right...I never like to post pictures of myself..especially since i do not own any cool tools like photoshop!
What a great day you guys made it! I will never forget it....especially since it made the blog...thanks for that!
I am glad that I decided to read the whole blog and not just look at the pictures, because the close-up of Sergeant Steve was a little unexpected. Glad it is for a good cause. You might be able to raise more money as a stunt double on Reno 911!
Happy Birthday again Kay-Lynn. Looks like the kids did a great job on the cake for you, and I hope they put some "shrimp on the barbi'" for you.

Please accept my apology for calling to sing Happy Birthday to you at 5:30 am! I was so determined to be the first!!! Glad to see that you celebrated in style--with loving kids and a handsome "devil" of a husband!!!
By the way, Steve, where is your picture on the Mustaches for Kids site--would love to keep up with your progress. I'll get a check in the mail tomorrow to assist in this good cause.
Looks like you all had a lot of fun on your birthday. Wish we could of been there to celebrate with you.
Love, Mom and Dad
Happy Late B-day!! I'm so proud of Steve for blogging about your b-day. What a sweet husband AND his mustache looks great! :-) As always, I love seeing the pics of your beautiful kiddos!

xoxo-Katy
Cool! Our religious school just raised Nickels For Nets! Our schools must have the same ideas! How much did they raise? We raised enough to buy 1,000 nets! Good Luck!
Hugs and kisses!

Oh My, I have been a bad friend! Sorry for the delay in commenting. If you will notice, I have neglected my blog for a while! What a great bday blog. Good job Mr. Steve!
OMG! I forgot to comment on the "stache". I enlarged the picture, the copied & pasted into photoshop, and enlarged some more. Sorry Steve-O, I just don't see it!? Could you send me another updated picture?? WIth that same expression please. (If you like, we can do a little photoshopping there...I won't tell a soul!)
